Luke Richardson

Having progressed to Audit Manager with the regional firm with which he qualified, and then spending a period furthering his experience within a ‘top 6’ firm, Luke joined BSG Valentine during February 2015 as an Audit Manager.  Subsequently, Luke became a Senior Audit Manager, and then an Audit director, RI and Statutory Auditor.  Luke is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has over 15 years’ practice experience within audit.

Luke’s portfolio covers a wide variety of clients including entrepreneurial owner managed businesses, PE backed companies, and subsidiaries of foreign groups.  Luke has experience auditing groups, as both the principal and as the component auditor, including UK holding companies with overseas subsidiaries and UK subsidiaries of international groups.

Luke’s experience covers a variety of industries, including professional services, financial services, FCA regulated, hospitality, technology, telecoms, IT, property development, pharmaceuticals, investment companies, property management, retail, wholesale and manufacture.  Luke works with businesses requiring audit ranging in size from businesses with turnovers exceeding £100m to businesses with turnover of less than £1m.

In addition to statutory audit, Luke has experience in due diligence exercises, other specialist assignments and ad hoc projects.
